Great Read: "If I Could Turn Back Time“ by Beth Harbison

This book went into my shopping basket because …

I liked the cover and it hold the promise of an easy and good read.

This book is about …

the nearly 38-year-old Ramie who has everything she ever wanted: wealth, nice friends and a successful carrier. But she still isn’t happy and keeps wondering what could have been if she had made different decisions as a 18-year-old and what impact the early death of her father had on her life. After an accident she not only awakes in her childhood home, but also in her life as an 18-year-old girl.

What I didn’t like about this book …

were very little things which were caused by my own impatience as a reader. I couldn’t wait to see how the story unfolds, to find out what actually happened to Ramie and what this means for her life.

I like about this story that …

it really went past my expectations. The book entered my life in the right time and helped me to be more grateful for the wonderful people and good things in my own life.

This book should be on your reading list if …

you want to see your own life from a different point of view and you sometimes ask yourself ’’what would have happened if“.

Conclusion: A beautiful story for all the philosophical time-travel-enthusiasts and those who could turn into one.
